The UPSC CMS Eligibility Criteria are
the minimum requirements that must be met by candidates who want to apply for
this recruitment exam. The UPSC CMS eligibility is mentioned in the official
notification. Here are the UPSC CMS 2024 eligibility criteria for future exams:
Nationality: The candidate must be either an Indian or meet the
following criteria to apply for the UPSC CMS exam:
- Subject: Nepal/Bhutan
- Tibetan refugees migrated to India with the
intention of permanent settlement (before January 1, 1962).
- Indian-origin candidates if they have migrated to India with the intention of
permanent settlement from one of the following countries:

The United Republic of Tanzania

Zambia

Educational Qualification: cleared the written and practical part of the MBBS final year or should

UPSC CMS Exam Pattern 2024
- There are a total of two papers that are held
in offline mode.
- The duration to complete both papers is the
same, i.e., 2 hours each.
- A total of 500 marks from
this phase are distributed equally among both papers.
- For 250 marks in each paper, candidates are
required to solve 120 questions.
- There will be a negative marking of 1/3
mark deduction for each wrong answer.
- UPSC CMS Paper 1 will be based on questions
from ‘General Medicine and Paediatrics‘ subjects.
- UPSC CMS Paper 2 will be based on ‘Surgery,
Preventive & Social Medicine, Gynaecology & Obstetrics’
subjects.

UPSC CMS Cut Off 2024 Types
Here are the types of UPSC CMS Cut
Off for upcoming exams:
- UPSC CMS Written Exam Cut Off 2024: It is also known as the minimum qualifying standard in the
Written exam and is the score obtained out of 500 marks.
- UPSC CMS Final Cut Off 2024: It is the cut-off mark at the Final Stage out of 600 after
including 100 marks in the personality test stage.
Candidates will be required to clear
both stages separately to be included in the final merit list.
