MPSC Prelims Exam Pattern 2024

 

Important Points:

1. Marks of both papers will be considered for qualifying candidates for the mains exam.
2. Both Paper I and Paper II have negative markings for all the incorrect answers.
3. There will be no negative marking for unattended questions.
4. There is a negative marking of 1/3 of the marks allocated to the question in Paper 1 & 2. The questions on decision-making in Paper 2 do not have negative marks if incorrectly answered.
5. MPSC Prelims is screening in nature.
6. Candidates need to score minimum marks as decided by the commission to qualify for the main exam.
7. All the questions are set in English and Marathi except for those questions which are meant to test the candidate’s knowledge of English.
