Syllabus and Exam Pattern

Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL) conducts recruitment exams for the post of Junior Engineer (JE). The syllabus and exam pattern for MPPGCL JE 2023 are as follows:

Exam Pattern:

1. The MPPGCL JE exam will consist of 100 multiple choice questions.
2. The total marks for the exam will be 100.
3. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
4. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

The exam will consist of the following sections:

1. Technical Ability - 75 marks
2. General Awareness - 25 marks

Syllabus:

1. Technical Ability:

• Electrical Engineering: Electrical Machines, Power Systems, Electrical Measurements, Control Systems, Electrical Circuits, and Networks, Analog and Digital Electronics, Power Electronics, Utilization of Electrical Energy, etc.
• Mechanical Engineering: Thermodynamics, Manufacturing Technology, Strength of Materials, Theory of Machines, Machine Design, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Industrial Engineering, etc.

2. General Awareness:

• General Science and Technology: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.
• Current Affairs: National and International news, Political Science, Sports, Awards, Important Events, etc.
• Geography: Physical and Political Geography of India and the World, Environment and Ecology, etc.
• History and Culture: Ancient, Medieval, and Modern Indian History, Art and Culture, etc.

Candidates should prepare well for both the technical and general awareness sections to perform well in the MPPGCL JE exam. They should also solve previous years' question papers and take mock tests to assess their preparation and improve their performance.
